The Historic Freemasons’ Hall venue is available for private event hire. The Freemasons of Ireland accepted a booking from a media company and if the participants and content had been known the booking would not have been accepted.

The Freemasons of Ireland categorically denies any association with the interviewer or interviewee and regrets that such an interview took place on our premises.We apologises to our members and confirm that steps have been taken to avoid a reoccurrence.

Public Tours

Public tours of Freemasons’ Hall are available at 3.00 p.m. every weekday. Booking is not required and the contribution is 5 euros per person.

It is not possible to hold tours when there are major events, some of which are arranged at short notice. Therefore, if you are making a special trip to Freemasons' Hall, please contact us to make sure that tours are running on the day of your visit.

Masonic Charities

Benevolence has always been the cornerstone of Freemasonry. Goodwill to all and a desire to help those less fortunate are fundamental principles of the Masonic Fraternity and therefore, charitable giving is a major part of membership of the Freemasons.

Our members engage in acts of benevolence in a variety of ways, either through simple gestures such as gift giving, or through the raising of monies for a variety of funds which help a wide variety of people. Read More
